Delicious Tress Pasta from Germany from Natural Eggs
"Original Homemade" specialities, the dough - made of fresh eggs and finest durum wheat semolina - is pressed gently through special pasta dies.
The eggs used for Tress egg pasta are barn eggs grade "A extra" (KAT Standard). They originate exclusively from animals raised by certified suppliers. Tress freshly crack these open on a daily basis. For this reason, fresh egg noodles from Tress are something truly special.
Tress is a family-run company located at the Muensingen Germany in the heart of the UNESCO biosphere reserve "Swabian Alb". They produce pasta the way teheir grandmothers used to, so it looks unmistakably delicious as if made by hand.
The result is golden-yellow pasta with a smooth surface and the typical Tress al-dente bite. It goes without saying, that this tasty pasta will keep both shape and texture when cooked.

KAT, the Association for Controlled Alternative Animal Husbandry, is the inspection body in Germany and neighbouring EU countries for the scrutiny of eggs from alternative forms of hen rearing (free-range, barn and organic rearing). Virtually all eggs offered for sale on the German market in the food retail trade bear the KAT inspection label.
